On February 15, 2025, the Mechanical Engineering Department of MIST successfully held ME Alumni Day 2025 (Mechalums 2.0), bringing together students, teachers, and alumni in a festive gathering. It was a day filled with nostalgia, friendship, and meaningful interactions.

The event was graced by the presence of Respected Commandant, MIST, making the occasion even more special. The day kicked off with exciting sports events and a delightful Pitha Utsob, followed by an inspiring career talk, alumni experience sharing, and the launch of the Mechamist Alumni Website.

The presentation of the Distinguished Alumni Award 2025, which honored our alumni's exceptional accomplishments, was one of the highlights.

After a delicious meal, the event continued with a cultural segment featuring performances by students and well-known artists such as Abonti Sithi and Arbovirus. Our alumnus, Shuvasish Bhowmick from ME-02, also performed and delighted the audience with his energetic performance. Watch his performance here.

A raffle draw, which added to the jubilation, was the high point of the excitement.

Alumni left with hearts full of treasured memories and a fresh resolve to fortify the ME alumni network as the day drew to a conclusion.
