Inception
Navana Furniture Ltd. is one of the leading furniture manufacturers in
Bangladesh. We started
our journey on 29 May 2002 (As per BOI Registration) and have been running very
successfully since then. The
main focus of Navana Furniture Ltd. since its inception has been customer needs and
satisfaction. In this age
of lifestyle products, furniture plays a vital role.
Path Maker
Mr. Shafiul Islam Kamal started his journey with Islam Group in 1968
and established a successful career in the automotive, construction, and real estate
industries. He played a major
role in establishing Navana Limited as the premier car company in Bangladesh and in
setting up Aftab
Automobiles. Mr. Islam was also responsible for the construction company Bengal
Development
Corporation (BDC), and by 1981, he was also managing Eastern Housing
Limited, then the largest real estate
development company in Bangladesh. In 1996, after the death of Mr. Jahurul Islam
(Chairman of Islam Group and brother of
Mr. Shafiul Islam), he separated from Islam Group with Navana Ltd. and Aftab Automobiles
Ltd. and formed
Navana Group. He also successfully established 18 sister companies of Navana Group and
diversified
into different industries.

Legal Status
Formerly, Navana Furniture Ltd. was part of Aftab Automobiles Ltd. up to 21 April 2009.
Thereafter, it emerged as a separate entity under the name Navana Furniture
Ltd.
